Venados Racing Team

The Venados Racing Team aims to connect our community runners who share similar racing goals.  Our racing team is composed of age group runners, former high school/college runners, or anyone who still has a competitive spirit and is chasing time goals/PRs.  

The race team requirements include:  

-   Continue to be an active member of Venados and attend group runs regularly.

-   Race all races in the Venados Racing Team jersey, no exceptions.

-   Race a minimum of 3 races per year (2 races must be from our preferred list).

-   Meet the below Venados Racing Team qualifying times.

Qualifying times for the Venados Racing Team are age graded.  Each 5 year bracket (40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+) will receive the following additional time:

Marathon + 5:00

Half Marathon + 3:00

10k + 2:00

8k  + 1:30

5k + 0:30
